About
Heaven Creater
Lives & works in Chicago,IL.
I am a mixed media artist who focuses on themes of Black culture and its aesthetics through illustration, painting, and sculpture. Black representation and identity are very important to me because I want to see my demographic represented openly and explore stories and truths about my background that were once forgotten.
Creating and exploring characters and narratives that reflect a culture that I can relate to is something that I enjoy most in my work. My art is often influenced by pop culture and history and my pieces range from fictional character designs to reactions to historical narratives.
I have always had a passion for art and creating since I was a little girl but I began to take my hobby seriously around 2018 and enrolled as an art student. I am also a young entrepreneur and have earned my BFA in Art at the University of Illinois at Chicago in May of 2022.
